A sharp-shooter for honest ethical reflection Yuval Levin is an extremely articulate and dedicated apostle of the culture of life, and I am grateful to call him a friend. After serving as Associate Director of the Domestic Policy Council at the White House (and prior to that, as executive director of the President's Council on Bioethics), he is currently a fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center in Washington, D.C. and senior editor of a journal I would recommend you take a look at, The New Atlantis . Also take a look at a recent article Yuval published in National Review Online in which he deftly refutes the contemporary myth that American embryonic stem cell research is falling "far behind" that of foreign scientists because of the Bush-administration's stringent limits on funding such research. Proponents of embryo-destructive research are wont to make this claim in order to leverage their argument for increased federal funding for that research ("lest we lose our lead in this field.") We thank Yuval for pointing out what, for their side, is truly an "inconvenient truth." ***
